Role Overview Description
IT Infrastructure and Monitoring Analyst
Purpose:
This role focuses on overseeing and managing all system alerts, including IT Security. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring, resolving tickets, and providing support across Level 1, 2, and 3 incidents. This includes hands-on work with server and network infrastructure (both on-premises and cloud-based platforms including AWS, GCP, SonicWall, and Unifi). Additionally, the role involves SSL certificate management and installation to ensure optimal utilisation.

Objectives:
● Monitor all system alerts, including IT security alerts, across on-premises and cloud environments. Efficiently resolve tickets and incidents at Level 1 and 2, escalating those requiring higher expertise to Level 3 where necessary, while ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and ISO 27001. – 30%
● Provide high-level expertise and resolution for Level 3 server and network issues within AWS, GCP, SonicWall, and Unifi environments. Manage, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud. – 25%
● Involved in SSL certificate management, including selection, installation, and ensuring that SSLs are effectively utilised across all necessary servers and configurations. – 15%
● Assist in developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, controls, and risk management strategies that adhere to industry best practices, and comply with PCI DSS and ISO 27001 standards. – 15%
● Engage in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to meet performance and compliance standards, while providing technical input for IT projects and infrastructure improvements. – 10%
● Support audits and compliance assessments, maintaining updated documentation and participating in the refinement of incident response plans. – 5%

Key Result Areas:
● Ensure timely response and resolution of system and security alerts, maintaining a secure IT environment across all platforms.
● Provide effective resolution for Level 3 technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
● Implement and maintain SSL and third-party certificate management procedures effectively.
● Uphold IT governance policies compliant with PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
● Drive successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects within scope, budget, and timelines.

Skills & Qualifications:
● 3+ Years IT Experience in IT infrastructure management, with extensive work on cloud (AWS, GCP) and on-premises systems.
● Familiarity with PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
● Strong knowledge of network and cloud infrastructure technologies, including SonicWall and Unifi.
● Experience in managing SSL certificates and ensuring secure configurations.
● Proven ability to investigate and respond to security incidents.
● Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and providing technical support.
