Role Overview Description
We are seeking an experienced Magento Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Magento backend development, extensive knowledge of Magento architecture, and expertise in building custom modules. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of Magento's core functions, and the ability to lead a development team effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
● Proven experience (6+ years) in Magento development, particularly in backend development.
● Deep understanding of Magento 2 architecture, core functions, and module development.
● Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
● Experience with third-party integrations and API development.
● Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
● Strong knowledge of Magento's caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Experience with Magento Cloud and DevOps practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
● Magento 2 Certification (Developer, Developer Plus, or Solution Specialist).
● Experience with GraphQL, Elasticsearch, and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
● Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
Magento Development:
● Develop and maintain Magento-based eCommerce websites.
● Build, test, and deploy custom Magento modules tailored to business needs.
● Optimize Magento architecture for performance and scalability.
● Debug and troubleshoot issues within Magento's backend and core functions.

Module Development and Integration:
● Design and implement custom modules following Magento best practices.
● Integrate third-party extensions and APIs seamlessly into the Magento platform.
● Ensure compatibility of custom modules with Magento updates.

Technical Leadership:
● Lead a team of Magento developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
● Define and enforce development standards, workflows, and best practices.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, DevOps, and QA.

System Optimization:
● Conduct performance optimization, including database queries and caching strategies.
● Implement and manage Magento security best practices.

Documentation and Support:
● Create and maintain detailed documentation for custom modules and system configurations.
● Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
