Magento Developer - eCommerce Platform (3-10 yrs)

About Us :

PrevajConsultants is seeking an experienced Magento Developer to join our e-commerce team. As a Magento Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Magento-based e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Development

- Design, develop, and deploy Magento modules, themes, and custom solutions

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code

- Integrate third-party APIs and services

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

2. Magento Expertise :

- In-depth knowledge of Magento core, modules, and themes

- Experience with Magento 2.x and its features

- Familiarity with Magento's architecture, including blocks, models, and controllers

3. MySQL and Database

- Strong MySQL programming skills, including query optimization and database design

- Experience with database management systems (DBMS) and SQL

- Knowledge of database security and backup procedures

4. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with designers, project managers, and stakeholders

- Communicate technical information effectively

- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices

Requirements :

- 2+ years of experience in Magento development

- Strong PHP programming skills and knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts

- Experience with MySQL and database management

- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong attention to detail and quality focus

- Ability to work in an agile environment

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with Magento's e-commerce features, including payment gateways and shipping integrations

- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Git

- Certification in Magento development (e.g., Magento Certified Developer)
