Role Overview Description
1. Manager - Marketing Analytics (for William Elliot)
The client is the world's largest travel guidance platform*, helps hundreds of millions of people each month** become better travelers, from planning to booking to taking a trip. Travelers across the globe use this client's site and app to discover where to stay, what to do and where to eat based on guidance from those who have been there before. With more than 1 billion reviews and opinions of nearly 8 million businesses, travelers turn to them to find deals on accommodations, book experiences, reserve tables at delicious restaurants and discover great places nearby. As a travel guidance company available in 43 markets and 22 languages, This client makes planning easy no matter the trip type.
What You''ll Do:
* Develop impactful and insight driven analyses and reports. Bring a practical bent to
analytic problem solving, identifying the most efficient solutions to complex challenges.
Develop standards, define KPIs and ensure high quality output. Create end-to-end views
of the business that enable deeper understanding of customer experience and business
performance.
* Work on large scale clickstream user data and other similar large datasets to generate
insights for your stakeholders and optimize marketing opportunities. Track business
performance and user journeys across various digital marketing tactics including CRM,
display and onsite brand campaigns.
* Work with data engineering teams to ensure that reliable and timely data is available for analyses and reporting.
* Support AB testing and experimentation by identifying test cases, developing
hypotheses, and analyzing results.
* Align and balance demands of competing stakeholders ensuring that we''re working on the top priorities for the business. Own the roadmap and manage the lifecycle of
strategically important analytics projects.
* Coach and mentor junior data analysts to upgrade team skills, provide training and
develop standard processes and methods.
What We Seek:
* A bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business
or other related fields.
* A minimum of 7+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in digital marketing in a data driven company
* Deep expertise with SQL and Tableau (or similar business intelligence tools) is a must.
Experience with Snowflake, Python, R, and Looker is desirable. Exposure to an AB
testing tool such as Optimizely, Adobe, etc. is desirable.
* Experience working with large-scale data is essential. Proficiency in analyzing CRM data
and familiarity with platforms like Braze, HubSpot or similar tools that support direct
consumer engagement and campaign effectiveness is also desirable..
