Role Overview Description
Senior Data Analyst - Integrated Marketing
The client is the world's largest travel guidance platform*, helps hundreds of millions of people each month** become better travelers, from planning to booking to taking a trip. Travelers across the globe use this client's site and app to discover where to stay, what to do and where to eat based on guidance from those who have been there before. With more than 1 billion reviews and opinions of nearly 8 million businesses, travelers turn to them to find deals on accommodations, book experiences, reserve tables at delicious restaurants and discover great places nearby. As a travel guidance company available in 43 markets and 22 languages, This client makes planning easy no matter the trip type.
What You''ll Do:
* Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to extract insights from large datasets and provide actionable recommendations to improve marketing campaign performance.
* Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to social media, search, and display advertising.
* Collaborate with Marketers to define metrics and measurement strategies for campaigns. Build dashboards to communicate both strategic and tactical impact.
* Recommend the best course of action by performing deep analysis of user behavior, and performance of cross-channel campaigns. Develop a story based on learnings and present it to cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and finance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Data Science to drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness.
* Support AB testing and experimentation by identifying test cases, developing hypotheses, and analyzing results.
What We Seek:
* Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or related fields.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for marketing within a data-driven company.
* Proficiency in Python, SQL and Tableau (or similar business intelligence tools) is essential.
* Strong understanding of marketing concepts and metrics, including keyword bidding, CPM, CPC, CPA, etc.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
* Exposure to statistical methods is desirable.
