Role Overview Description
Business Intelligence - Senior Data Analyst
The client is the world's largest travel guidance platform*, helps hundreds of millions of people each month** become better travelers, from planning to booking to taking a trip. Travelers across the globe use this client's site and app to discover where to stay, what to do and where to eat based on guidance from those who have been there before. What You''ll Do:
* Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines to integrate data from multiple
sources, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
* Create and manage data models and products, including performance, fact and
forecasting tables, to support business intelligence needs and improve business
performance assessment.
* Develop and maintain a suite of interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and
other intelligence solutions, providing actionable insights to stakeholders across the
organization.
* Collaborate closely with business users to understand their data needs, translate
requirements into technical specifications, and deliver data solutions.
* Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement data quality checks to ensure the integrity of our data assets.
* Assist in building and maintaining Analytics SST for internal data knowledge sharing and best practices.
* Develop and document data dictionary and metadata repositories to enhance data
understanding and usability across the organization.
* Provide training and support to business users on how to effectively use BI tools and
interpret data visualizations.
* Stay informed about company data and infrastructure changes, recommending and
implementing improvements to our data infrastructure.

What We Seek:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a
related field.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence within a
data-driven company.
* Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, data modeling, and query
optimization.
* Advanced skills in Tableau or similar BI tools for creating impactful dashboards and data visualizations.
* Strong experience in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using tools like
Informatica, Talend, or similar platforms.
* Proficiency in at least one scripting language (preferably Python) for data manipulation
and automation tasks.
* Experience working with large-scale relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server,
PostgreSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms. Snowflake is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business
requirements into data solutions.
* Experience with data governance and metadata management practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to identify data-driven opportunities for business
improvement.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
