Role Overview Description
Platform Development and Customization:
● Design, configure, and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
● Create and modify workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and other configurations.
● Develop custom integrations using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.

Implementation and Maintenance:
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other modules.
● Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal platform performance.
● Conduct regular platform upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and compatibility with business operations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
● Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide solutions.
● Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
● Quality Assurance and Documentation:
● Perform unit testing and assist in system/user acceptance testing to ensure quality deliverables.
● Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including workflows, configurations, and customizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
● 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
● Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS for customization and scripting.
● Strong experience with ITSM, ITOM, and/or HRSD modules.
● Expertise in creating and maintaining workflows, catalog items, and portals in ServiceNow.
● Knowledge of ServiceNow MID Server setup and configuration.
● Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, or JDBC.
● Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
● ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other advanced certifications are a plus.

Soft Skills:
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.

Education:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred:
● Prior experience in Agile development environments.
● Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices (ITIL certification is a plus).
