Facility Executive

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facility Executive to oversee and manage the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Facility Management with 5 to 8 years of experience in maintaining and optimizing building systems, ensuring a safe, efficient, and sustainable working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Operations Management:

• Oversee daily operations of facilities, ensuring smooth functioning of all essential services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Monitor and manage the upkeep of office spaces, common areas, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate regular maintenance activities and resolve any facility-related issues promptly.

1. Vendor and Service Provider Management:
   
• Manage and coordinate with external service providers for building maintenance, janitorial services, security, and other facilities-related services.
• Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and track performance metrics.
2. Health, Safety, and Compliance:
   
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety, security protocols, and risk assessments.
• Conduct periodic audits and inspections of facilities and recommend improvements.
• Promote a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
3. Facility Budgeting and Cost Control:
   
• Assist in preparing the facility management budget and track expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality service standards.
4. Space Management and Layout Optimization:
   
• Coordinate office space planning and support employees' needs for workspace arrangements.
• Oversee the allocation of workspace, meeting rooms, and common areas efficiently.
5. Sustainability and Energy Management:
   
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce the facility's environmental footprint.
• Monitor utilities consumption (water, electricity, etc.) and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.
6. Team Leadership and Coordination:
   
• Lead and supervise the facilities management team, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal team performance.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between teams, departments, and external vendors.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in facility management or related roles.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in managing building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), and familiarity with FM software and systems.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of health & safety regulations, vendor management, and energy management.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications: Certification in Facility Management (IFMA, BOMA, or similar) is a plus.
• Location Flexibility: Willingness to be available for on-site support and emergencies as required.
