Regional Technical Manager

Job description

The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading technical projects, managing a team of engineers or technical professionals, and ensuring the successful implementation of technical solutions.

This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on management of technical resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's technical goals.

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, developers, or technical staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team members have the necessary resources.
• Oversee and manage the technical execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage the project lifecycle from planning to deployment, including defining project scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide high-level technical guidance and expertise in areas relevant to the business, such as software development, system architecture, network infrastructure, or database management.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues when necessary.

Process Improvement & Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce coding standards, development processes, and best practices.
• Ensure that technical solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, security).
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for software development.
