Job Description


Job Role Purpose: (Brief summary for the existence of the job role)

  • To create a robust talent pipeline
  • To optimise the source mix and bring down recruitment costs
  • To deliver exemplary candidate experience and position Unity SFB as preferred employer
  • Manage current staffing needs and pre-emptive hiring based on forecast
  • Working closely with the HR BP Team in order to have seamless staffing.

Employee Engagement

  • Drive various HR initiatives to foster employee engagement across the assigned portfolio.
  • Branch Visits, Follow up branch visits/Location Visits
  • Focus on Initiatives for band E4 and above.
  • Employee 1-0-1 sessions: To understand their concerns and seek feedback. Analyse trends and give recommendations
  • Employee Satisfaction Survey/UF Feedback Survey: Analyse and share feedback with line managers on areas, which need intervention. Observe recurrent trends and recommend initiatives or programs for improvisation.
  • New Joinee Mentoring: Drive the initiative across the region Conduct mentor training workshops all mentors.
  • Reward and Recognition: Drive various programs across the region.
  • Employee Meets Facilitate these meets and ensure resolution to employee queries and concerns.

Performance Management

  • Guiding/Training managers on the Bank's Performance Management System.
  • Facilitating the PMS process
  • Partnering with Line to ensure that expected performance standards are maintained
  • Monitoring the rollout and compliance to the PIP process, partnering with line to ensure fair opportunities are given to employees in this regard

Talent Management

  • Partnering with line to create career opportunities for Individuals identified under the talent pool
  • Employee Career Discussions: To understand their career aspirations, clarify expectations; discuss career options in the bank etc.
  • Career planning: Work with supervisors regarding career plans for their respective team members.
  • Job Rotations-Act as an enabler for employees to take higher-level roles/cross functional roles based on the Bank requirements and their career aspirations.

Talent Management & Mobility

  • Work with Lead HR BF to add value and insights on TRC process
  • Ensure ready pipeline of talent pool is available at senior level.
  • Work on 9 box plotting calibration for every region
  • Support with driving IDPs
  • Monitor progress and milestones of IDP's

Org Structure Management & Design

  • Provide working business insights for decision making on structures
  • Competition Mapping

Employee Connect

  • Working with regional teams and the Lead HRBP on employee engagement in regions
  • Dipsticks on employee connect initiatives

Performance Management

  • Reviewing incremental/new IDs and providing inputs for approval from the Head HR BP, using business insights
  • Running the R&R Process for business units assigned
  • Flagging of salary capped cases in advance for role movements
  • Data management during the performance management process
  • Support Rating validations

Retention Management

  • Implementing the agreed retention management plan jointly with respective COES
  • To ensure creative retention strategies focusing on career aspiration and career enhancement are worked upon
  • Work with the high attrition circle heads to improve retention.

Employee Communication & D&I initiatives

  • Deliver employee communication basis agreed HR communication
  • Supporting Lead HR BP towards driving all D&I initiatives(including gender diversity especially at senior levels)

Capability Building

  • To focus and deepen the capability building pipeline
  • To evaluate which all roles can be taken up for job ready models and work on the same along with TA

Educational Qualification & Certifications required:

  • Min Graduate (any stream)

Competency & Skills Required:

  • Ability to Multitask at work
  • Attention to detail
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Influencing skills
  • Excel skills for reporting & MIS

Experience Required:

Min 2 years of experience in similar role

Proficient in Microsoft excel and Power point

Major Stake Holders:

Branch Staff, TPP Vendors, Channel Management Team, TPP Product Teams, IT, Audit, Products Teams
