Position Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager with a strong background in D2C (Direct-to-Consumer), marketplace strategies, and experience with backpack brands to join our dynamic marketing team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing innovative social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive sales across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, focused on increasing brand visibility, engagement, and driving conversions for the backpack brand.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging, creative content including photos, videos, and copywriting that align with the brand's voice and resonate with the target audience.
- Community Management: Build and foster a strong online community by interacting with followers, responding to customer inquiries, and managing comments/messages.
- Campaign Execution: Lead social media campaigns and collaborations with influencers, content creators, and ambassadors to boost brand awareness and drive traffic to both the website and marketplaces.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, adjusting strategies based on metrics such as engagement, conversions, and traffic from social platforms.
- Marketplace Management: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content aligns with the brand's presence on online marketplaces (e. , Amazon, Etsy, Walmart) and optimize listings for visibility and conversion.
- Trend Spotting: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices, especially in the D2C space, and apply new strategies that align with the brand's growth goals.
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Maintain consistency across all social media platforms by adhering to the brand's messaging, tone, and visual guidelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with the eCommerce, product development, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and promote new product launches, promotions, and updates.
Qualifications:.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience managing social media for a D2C brand, preferably in the fashion, accessories, or lifestyle- industry.
- Experience with - backpacks or similar products is a plus.
- Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc. ) and how to leverage them for branding, customer engagement, and conversion.
- Marketplace Experience: Experience managing social media strategies that integrate with -marketplace platforms- like Amazon, Etsy, or others to drive traffic and increase sales.
Skills:.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and content creation skills.
- Strong visual sense and proficiency in design tools (e. , Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Knowledge of social media advertising and influencer marketing.
- Proficient in social media analytics and reporting tools (e. , Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Sprout Social).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
