The Brand Manager for the Exports Division will lead marketing efforts for products across international markets. This role focuses on strategic planning, budget management, packaging innovation, promotional activities, and digital marketing to drive brand growth and sales performance in foreign markets.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Craft detailed marketing plans for existing and new products tailored to international markets.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives for each region or country.
Budget Management:
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual marketing budget to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
Packaging Design and Innovation:
- Develop packaging for new SKUs and update existing packaging to stay relevant with market trends.
- Collaborate with creative agencies to ensure high-quality designs for packaging and promotional materials.
Promotional Collaterals Development:
- Create and manage point-of-sale (POS) and other promotional materials for international campaigns.
- Ensure materials are relevant to the cultural and market needs of each target region.
Exhibition Coordination:
- Develop an annual exhibition calendar and handle event bookings.
- Coordinate the design and availability of collaterals for successful participation in trade exhibitions.
Digital Marketing and Social Media Management:
- Establish and maintain a strong social media presence for foreign markets.
- Design and execute digital marketing campaigns to boost engagement and brand visibility.
E-Commerce Account Management:
- Develop and oversee e-commerce platforms to drive sales and enhance brand presence online.
Distributor Support:
- Process and manage promotional claims from distributors to ensure smooth operations and partnerships.
Sales Support and Lead Generation:
- Assist the sales team by generating and nurturing leads, providing essential marketing tools and resources.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain and update Marketing Information Systems (MIS) for sales and marketing activities.
- Provide regular reports and insights for better decision-making and performance tracking.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: MBA with a specialization in Marketing from a reputed institution.
Experience:
- 4 to 8 years of experience in product management, product development, and packaging development.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with creative agencies for packaging, POP, and POS materials.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of international markets and marketing practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with creative teams, sales teams, and distributors.
- Analytical thinking for maintaining MIS and tracking performance metrics.
