Join our innovative travel tech company as a UI/UX Lead, where you'll have the opportunity to shape the design and user experience of our digital products. In this role, you will guide the UI/UX design process from concept to execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier, user-centric designs that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Design Leadership : Spearhead the design vision and strategy across multiple projects, ensuring consistency with business goals and user requirements.
- Team Mentorship : Lead and inspire a team of talented UI/UX designers, offering support, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- User-Focused Design : Conduct in-depth user research and usability testing to gain insights that inform design decisions, ensuring solutions are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Prototyping & Wireframing : Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate the design intent and user flow.
- Collaboration Across Teams : Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of design concepts across platforms.
- Design Systems Development : Create and maintain a comprehensive design system that promotes consistency, scalability, and efficiency in all projects.
- Iterative Improvement : Regularly update designs based on feedback from users, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Stay Current : Continuously explore the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance the design process and product outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design with a robust portfolio of web and mobile design projects.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a design team.
- Expertise in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Strong knowledge of design systems, UI/UX best practices, and modern design trends.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to inform design improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Ability to balance user-centered design with business objectives and technical constraints.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity with agile development processes.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS (beneficial but not required).
- A degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field is a plus.
