Graymatter - UI/UX Designer - Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing the user interface and user experience for our e-commerce platforms. Youll work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless and visually appealing experience across both web and mobile platforms. Your role will require creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of user behavior and online service booking trends.

Key Responsibilities :

UI/UX Design :

- Create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging designs for mobile and web applications for airport services and e-commerce app.

Wireframing & Prototyping :

- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups that illustrate the structure and functionality of the app.

User Research & Testing :

- Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the user experience.

- Participate in A/B testing and usability testing to refine designs.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs.

Design Systems :

- Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.

Responsive Design :

- Ensure that the app is responsive and provides a seamless experience across all devices, including Mobile, Tablets, and desktops.

Optimization :

- Continuously analyze user feedback and data (e.g., heatmaps, session recordings) to refine

and improve the UI/UX.

Brand Alignment :

- Ensure all design work aligns with the customer's brand identity and enhances the overall brand perception.

Requirements :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related

field.

Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.

Skills :

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.

- Strong portfolio showcasing UX research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for mobile and web apps.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development practices is a plus.

- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.

- Experience with user research methods like user interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain design choices and iterate based

on feedback.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on B2C e-commerce platforms or apps.

- Familiarity with agile development processes and working in cross-functional teams.

- Understanding of SEO and its relationship to UI/UX design.

- Experience with accessibility standards and ensuring compliance with WCAG
