Project Manager- 15 TPD Compressed Bio-Gas Plant

TUV SUD South Asia is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the execution of a 15 TPD Compressed Bio-Gas Plant project. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a significant project, ensuring its success from planning to handover.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Oversight & Coordination:

• Lead the entire project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring the project meets approved cost, time, and quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Owner, providing expert guidance and advice on critical project matters.
• Develop and implement coordination and communication procedures, ensuring smooth interaction between all stakeholders (Consultants, Contractors, and Owner).
• Focus on mechanizing construction activities, modular concepts, and prefabrication methods to improve efficiency and workmanship.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Implement a digital documentation system for seamless communication and file transfer among consultants, contractors, and the Owner (via E-mail, Internet, etc.).
• Provide regular progress reports including daily, weekly, and monthly updates to all relevant parties.
• Develop and submit Risk Analysis and Mitigation plans, along with regular project monitoring reports.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Oversee the QA/QC system, ensuring regular surveillance and quality control measures are in place, and are adhered to by LSTK/Package contractors.
• Ensure all EPCC/Package documents and engineering drawings are reviewed, monitored, and approved as per standards.

Dispute Resolution & Final Handover:

• Assist the Owner in resolving any outstanding matters with vendors or contractors related to delayed delivery, pending bills, or completion issues within 20 days post-project completion.
• Ensure a smooth handover and closure of the project, providing all necessary documents and suggested action plans for unresolved matters.

Team Leadership & Compliance:

• Ensure project execution is carried out efficiently and orderly, with qualified personnel deployed as needed.
• Enforce discipline, safety, and security on site, complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• In-depth knowledge of project execution processes and industry standards
• Proficiency in risk management, quality assurance, and dispute resolution
• Ability to manage complex projects in industries such as Biogas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Power.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Civil/Electrical)
• Experience: More than 10 years in project execution
• Relevant industries: Hydrocarbon, Petrochemical, Gas, Chemical, Sugar, Distillery, Power, Steel, Biogas, Effluent/Sewage Treatment, Water Treatment, or Utility Plants
• Must have completed at least one similar project as a Project In-Charge, managing large-scale projects with similar magnitude
