Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Identify potential clients, understand their specific needs, and recommend suitable testing solutions for their products.
Sales and Execution: Adopt a proactive approach to both selling and delivering services, ensuring smooth execution of projects.
Business Growth: Expand the company's market reach through networking and identifying new business opportunities.
Territory and Team Management: Oversee operations within the assigned region and provide leadership to the entire team.
High-Value Projects: Secure large-scale projects with budgets of at least ₹1 crore from reputable private and government clients in environmental, social, and sustainability consulting.
Industry Standards & Guidelines: Have a thorough knowledge of international sustainability and environmental guidelines, including:
Asian Development Bank Safeguard Policy Statement (ADB-SPS, 2009)
International Finance Corporation Performance Standards (IFC-PS, 2012)
World Bank Environmental and Social Standards (WB-ESS, 2018)
KfW Sustainability Guidelines
Carbon & Sustainability Expertise (Preferred): Understanding of carbon management, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, sustainability assurance, reporting, and the GHG Protocol will be an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Marketing & Business Development: Lead marketing efforts, business development activities, and client presentations for the entire Environment & Sustainability Division.
Revenue & Sales Targets: Ensure an annual order booking of at least INR 12.50 crore for environmental, social, and sustainability services, with a monthly sales target of INR 70–75 lakh.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manage bidding processes, and coordinate project execution plans.
Client Coordination: Work closely with clients to develop and implement environmental business solutions.
Sales & Lead Generation: Generate sales leads through cold calls, business development meetings, proposal submissions, and successful deal closures.
New Business Development: Identify and onboard at least three new clients, services, or sectors in environment consulting each year.
Marketing & Presentations: Conduct presentations and marketing initiatives to promote environmental services.
Project Management: Independently manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
