Corporate Finance Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sr Analyst - Corporate Finance / Financial Consultant to support financial planning, valuation, and investment decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial modeling, M&A transactions, risk analysis, and capital allocation strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate finance principles, financial reporting, and market research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and refine sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions, business valuation, and scenario analyses.
• Conduct deep-dive financial analysis, providing actionable insights into corporate strategy, capital allocation, and M&A opportunities.
• Spearhead debt and equity financing initiatives, liaising with financial institutions and investment partners.
• Assess and optimize capital structure, debt refinancing strategies, and financial covenants to enhance fiscal agility.
• Drive due diligence processes, identifying and mitigating potential investment risks with precision.
• Analyze financial statements and macroeconomic trends to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate risk exposure.
• Craft comprehensive transaction materials, including investment memorandums (IMs), executive reports, and board presentations.
• Enhance treasury operations by streamlining liquidity management and working capital optimization.
• Lead sensitivity analyses and stress testing frameworks to bolster financial resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project feasibility, funding mechanisms, and business case development.
• Deliver high-impact financial risk reports to senior leadership, investment committees, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and refine key financial performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Maintain and update corporate investment frameworks, cost of capital models, and capital expenditure strategies.
• Support investor relations by curating high-quality financial reports and market analyses.
• Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of excellence in financial modeling and strategic thinking.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• CFA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or other relevant financial certifications strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or financial advisory.
• Proficiency in complex financial modeling, valuation methodologies (DCF, multiples, sensitivity analysis), and scenario planning.
• Extensive exposure to M&A deal execution, due diligence, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong grasp of capital markets, debt structuring, and financial instruments.
• Expertise in Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Capital IQ, and advanced Excel functionalities.
• Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial insights into compelling narratives for C-suite executives.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, and corporate finance best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple strategic initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in energy, utilities, or infrastructure finance is a plus.
• Familiarity with structured finance instruments such as swaps, caps, and forward contracts.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
• Proven track record in mentoring and leadership within a financial team.
