Associate Vice President - Investment Banking

Strategy and Transactions:

Investment Banking:

- The Investment Banking team is a business unit within the Strategy & Transactions practice. This IB partners with its clients to identify the best opportunities and assists them in choosing and consummating the right transactions for their business success.

- With a dedicated team of professionals in our Investment Banking business, we offer comprehensive and integrated solutions to our clients, and assist them in aligning their transaction and business strategy to drive shareholder value and stay ahead of competition.

This team provides specialist investment banking services on the following:

- Mergers & acquisitions

- Divestitures

- Privatizations

- Joint Ventures/Strategic Alliances

- Capital raising

- Capital Markets

- Corporate Restructuring.

Technical Excellence:

- Provide support to the team in efficiency and productivity of managing an engagement

- Support on marketing pitches Independent charge of financial modelling

- Data analysis, financial analysis and modelling

- Market research (primary and secondary)

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power point

- Able to thrive in relatively unstructured situations

- Have experience in Valuations

- Good communication both written and oral (including report writing)

Analytical skills:

To qualify for the role you must have:

- MBA from a premier institute (Tier-I Indian B-school) with experience in transaction advisory, commercial due diligence, and strategy verticals will be preferred

- 6-7 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity.

Skills and attributes:

- In addition to technical competence, what will set you up for success at EY is your ability to:

- Understand and comprehend the rules and regulations that apply to M&A deals

- Create pitchbooks, execute and close deals end to end

- Create strong Financial modelling skills

- Work with diverse teams
