Solution Architect

Role Overview

TruKKer is seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect (Technology) to lead our technology solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that meet business requirements and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of technology solutions that support TruKKers logistics operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and skill development.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Solution Development: Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of technology solutions with existing systems and processes, facilitating data flow and interoperability across platforms.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, addressing complex issues and ensuring best practices are followed in solution development.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including management, business units, and external partners, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure that all solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and advocate for innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, solution implementations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications.

• Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software development and architecture, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing technology solutions in a logistics or supply chain environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and API design.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to assess complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
