JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Manager of Human Resources from the aviation industry would be primarily responsible for managing end to end talent acquisition across levels while overseeing HR operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Talent Acquisition and Retention
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles, including pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and corporate positions.
    • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and industry networks.
    • Conduct initial screening, interviews, and assessments to identify top talent.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of positions.
    • Manage offer negotiations and onboarding processes for new hires.
    • Ensure compliance with aviation industry recruitment standards and regulatory guidelines

HR Operations

    • Oversee HR policies, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with company and aviation industry regulations.
    • Manage employee records, contracts, and HR databases with accuracy.
    • Assist in payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
    • Support performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Address employee queries and grievances related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
    • Coordinate with internal teams for workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure HR practices comply with aviation regulations (e.g., DGCA, FAA, EASA) and labor laws.
    • Manage documentation and reporting for audits and inspections.

Employee Engagement & Retention:

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Conduct onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Organize training and development programs tailored for aviation professionals.
  • Address employee concerns and facilitate grievance handling processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive employee satisfaction and retention strategies

Qualifications and Skills


  • Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Master's degree or certification in HR is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 -7 years of HR experience from aviation industry.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong expertise in aviation-specific talent acquisition.
    • Knowledge of aviation payroll structures, benefits, and compliance
    • Experience in employee engagement and retention strategies
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
