Designation: Manager/ Senior Manager Pricing from Freight Forwarding Industry only

Job Profile:

• Meeting shipping lines in person to develop the relations.
• Negotiation of freight rates with Ocean Carriers / Transportation companies.
• Develop relations and business with Ocean Carriers / Transportation companies
• Maintain weekly report on inquiries generated versus business secured
• To coordinate with overseas partners and develop business synergies and maintain contract with overseas partners.
• To ensure timely responses and quote submissions to network offices for RFQs and business enquiries.
• To support Sales & Business Development initiatives for Land & Sea Forwarding by visiting customers if required by the business
• Monitoring and facilitation of progress of cost saving and yield improvement plans through continuous vendor management and development initiatives.

Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Credit with shipping lines
• Negotiate Price & terms with Vendors
• To maintain win and loss customers for RFQ and contracted customers

KPI

• 4 Hours time for reverting on any inquiry.
• Zero or minimal errors in providing rates.
• Building 1 agent globally on monthly basis.
• Negotiating best possible rates.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Educational Qualification(s): Graduate or post graduate

Prior Experience: 7-8 years

Skills & Personal Attributes : Good communication, experience in all aspects of logistics operations, Understanding of business.
