Role & responsibilities

Handling Air Exports (Pricing, Customer service & Operations)

• Coordinate for Air Frt rates with Airline,IATA agents,overseas agents & Transport team for various sector and accordingly quote to the customer/ overseas agents as per the shipment terms.
• Negotiating with airlines IATA agents and overseas agents for competitive rates, achieving cost savings and improved service levels for customers.
• Follow up with Customers/Shippers to give feedback on given quote & to secure nomination.
• Liaise with airlines, handling agents, and clearance team for cargo spacebooking arranging pick up & prepare awb to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Coordinate and oversee the entire air freight export process from booking shipment to final delivery.
• Participate in bidding on online portal.
• Aware about shipment Incoterms.
• Follow up with Shpr for New Consignments.
• Coordinate with Overseas WCA agents for Door delivery (DAP/DDU/DDP)shipments & to get competitive rates.
• Collaborate with sales teams on closing RFQ & to identify customer needs and opportunities for business & service improvement.
• Monitor and tracking shipments to ensure timely and secure delivery and provide real- time updates to customers.
• Maintain & Building strong relationship with customers, carriers, co loader and overseas
• agents to foster repeat business and to achieve growth targets and address their concerns issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Knowledge of Handling DG shipments and to Coordinate with DG packers/agents for getting the packing done as per IATA DGR manual.
• Maintaining regular shipment DSR, Airline CSR & Sub Agents payment details & follow up effectively with Accounts team to release Outstanding dues on time.
• Analysing Buying/Selling & Uploading Sub Agents /vendors Bills in Live Tracking
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate information on shipment status, documentation, and related inquiries.
• Communication with Overseas WCA Agents on follow up for shpt status, payment on regular basis also to get Door Delivery charges to quote respective shpr.
• Communication with Branches/ Finance team related to the customer payment/ Vendor
