We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our team in MUMBAI. The role involves supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll assistance, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for human resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and scheduling interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
• Maintain employee records and ensure smooth documentation processes.

Employee Engagement & Relations:

• Address employee concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
• Support performance management processes and probation confirmations.

HR Operations & Compliance:

• Maintain and update HR databases, records, and HRIS systems.
• Assist in payroll processing by collating attendance and leave records.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and compliance requirements.

Payroll Processing & Compliance:

• Assist HR MANAGER in payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as EPF, PT, TDS, Gratuity, and Bonus Act.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Handle payroll reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.

Taxation & Benefits Administration:

• Process income tax (TDS) deductions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist employees with tax declarations, Form 16 issuance, and other tax-related queries.
• Manage employee benefits such as PF withdrawals, ESIC claims, gratuity settlements, and reimbursements.

Time & Attendance Management:

• Monitor attendance records, leave management.
• Coordinate with HR and department heads to validate payroll inputs.

Audits & Reporting:

• Prepare Attendance, Payroll reports, Leave & Attendance reports and Employee Master data Updating.
• Liaise with finance teams to ensure proper payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Stay updated with labor laws, tax amendments, and payroll best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in HR or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in HRIS software (SAP, ADP, GreytHR, Zoho Payroll, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding English Communication skills. Both verbal and written.
