Job Description

The Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the cables segment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring overall revenue growth in the assigned region.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional and organizational sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cable industry across B2B and B2C segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential growth areas.
  • Monitor competitor activities and formulate strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and drive brand awareness.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure timely collections and manage outstanding payments from clients.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Train and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and achieve business goals.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in the cable industry or electrical products sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of cable industry trends, pricing strategies, and distribution networks.

Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to tackle business challenges.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
