The personRole & responsibilities

The candidate would be involved in managing end to end responsibility of running business operations for a pharmaceutical distribution setup. The candidate would be required to work closely with all the other functions and the leadership team to ensure complete ownership in managing the operations on the ground. He/she would be responsible for the managing a large team and ensuring that they are motivated while disseminating their responsibilities. Few examples of the work streams are:

• Develop Business Strategy for the Sales &; Market. Direct control over sales.
• Should be a good people manager
• Should be able to create synergy between 4 business verticals (Sales, Purchase, ops, finance)
• Should have at least 5 years of work experience channel sales, Fmcg, fmcd, Business side of

tech startup.

• Run operation and simultaneously scaling the operation
• Lead a team of warehouse managers and team lead. Person will be ensuring operation with

people management of 50+ people.

• Come up with initiatives to optimize cost and efficiencies in the operation
• Ensure that service level for all customers is met
• Analyze data closely to understand trends and opportunities to drive best utilization and

better industry standards

• Establish SOPs to ensure that standardized processes are created and implemented across

the organization

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong communicator with experience in facilitation across all levels; skilled at addressing both large and small audiences across multiple leadership levels and functions
• Willing to do field sales and hands on involvement in ops.
• Advanced use of all Microsoft Office applications
