MIS Executive Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS executive to manage and analyze data across sales, purchase orders, and inventory operations. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless data flow and creating actionable insights through advanced analytics and reporting tools. The candidate must possess strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Roles and Responsibility :

​​1. Data Analysis

• Analyze and interpret sales orders and purchase orders to identify trends, discrepancies, and insights.
• Perform inventory analysis to monitor stock levels, movement, and replenishment needs.
• Identify data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

2. Report Generation and Publishing

• Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports for key operational tasks and projects.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and insightful to aid in business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time updates on key performance indicators (KPIs).

3. Month-End Reporting

• Compile and consolidate month-end reports for sales, inventory, and other operational activities.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure data alignment and accuracy.

4. Data Maintenance and Management

• Maintain and update databases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information.
• Monitor data quality and implement measures to address inconsistencies or errors.
• Ensure all reports and data publishing comply with organizational standards and best practices.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with teams such as sales, procurement, inventory management, and operations to gather relevant data.
• Address ad-hoc data requests and provide actionable insights to different departments.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Strong understanding of sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory management.
• Exceptional skills in report generation, data visualization, and publishing.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to manage large datasets and derive actionable insights.

Preferred Candidate

• Graduate from reputed colleges (NIT/IIT Preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills (Extrovert personality preferred)
