Background: The Timbaktu Collective (Collective) is a grassroots non-profit organization initiated in 1990, that works towards the sustainable development of marginalized peoples across 347 villages in 14 mandals of the drought prone Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai districts of Andhra Pradesh. The Collective develops and implements diverse thematic programmes and initiatives with a central focus on community participation and ownership. The Sruthi working group within the Collective is responsible for the daily management and coordination of all organizational programs. This team plays a key role in overseeing administration, finance, legal compliance, media and communication, human resources, hospitality, networking, and governance functions. Roles and Responsibilities: As an HR and Communications Associate your responsibilities will involve the following:

Keep track of Organization s HR requirements and vacancies, and provide relevant recruitment

Anchor recruitment processes, including communications and coordination - candidate screening and

Maintain HR matrix with information of resumes and interviewees, as well as HR information of

Assist in communicating HR policies and guidelines within the organization.

Drafting, managing and coordinating emails and phone communications on behalf of the organization;

Responding to incoming inquires for visitors and anchor the visitors days; and

Any other work given by the reporting person.

Bachelors/ master s degree in any relevant field.

Aptitude to live and work in a rural setting.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Good interpersonal skills.
