Social Media Analyst

Role & Responsibilities :

• Social Media Monitoring: Tracking social media platforms [Twitter, Facebook, YouTube] etc to monitor mentions hashtags and trends related to political leaders or political issues.
• Trend Analysis: Identify political trends or viral content that could affect public opinion.
• Content Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media posts, ads, and campaigns. Provide recommendations for optimizing content to increase engagement and reach.
• Engagement Monitoring: Track and measure audience engagement across various social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and others, to engage public sentiment and campaign effectiveness.
• Communication Expert: To develop communication strategies for leaders or clients.
• Competitive Analysis: Research and track the social media activity of opposing campaigns, political figures, and interest groups to inform competitive strategy.
• Report Creation: Prepare regular reports on social media performance, engagement rates, growth metrics, and voter sentiment to inform strategy adjustments.
• Content Creation & Scheduling: Work with the content team to develop compelling, on-brand content and manage posting schedules across all platforms.

Skills:

• Required strong political knowledge.
• Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics).
• Experience with paid social media advertising and managing campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and Twitter Ads.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights to non-technical team

members.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with voter behavior analysis and political messaging strategies.
