IT Risk & Enterprise Srvs-Test Engineer

• Review user requirements to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Review system requirements and create test plan and test cases to verify the system meets all the requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to create and select test cases and create test scripts.
• Perform test data creation and execute test plans and test scripts for testing validation.
• Crafts test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
• Should know the Defect Management using ALM/JIRA, Defect Triaging, Defect Status Reporting and Tracking
• Knowledge of Java Script language to work on Selenium automation framework.
• Implement automation scripts or revises existing scripts to assist the testing.
• Perform routine and basic analysis, testing and certification of software.
• Validate user expectations are achieved during the testing process and conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Interact with users to share information and clarify instructions.
• Have sound knowledge on regression testing, Smoke & Sanity testing, compatibility testing, system functional testing, user acceptance testing etc.
• Report issues found back to development and/or project management teams.
• Conduct a range of quality control tests and analyses ensuring all problems are resolved and that software meets specified standards, development specifications and client requirements before signing off.
• Record testing evidence and produce testing report after each testing phase.
