Senior Associate Design Engineering - Structural Engineering

Job Description

-Driving and implementing Continuous Improvement Projects and innovation for their teams -Manages relationships with multiple stakeholders -Explore opportunities for improving standards & cost savings by sharing best practices across different Tesco markets, benchmarking against industry standards, innovating & collaborating with other functions, consultants & vendors -Accountable to develop the engineering design guidelines, templates, WGLLs documents & examples, ways of working etc. that the team (e.g. Engineering development) can apply to specific site/ store. -Develop building standards based on the steer provided by Building Surveyors & Structural Engineers -Value-engineer projects/ design to provide the best value. -Design & deliver the high value projects in consultation with TBS & UK Structural Engineers & surveyors -Staying current with the building industry including new technology, construction methods and survey techniques. -Developing improvements in building & safety standards that are aligned to our core purpose

Qualifications

Applying - Building Engineering design/installation Engineering design calculations Building & Retail Design Integration Develop Engineering drawings Develop Bill of Quantities BIM - Revit and AutoCAD (expertise) Interpret Architectural/ Construction drawings
Graduate/ Diploma in Structural engineering with sound construction/ Installation know how
