Job Description
Position: Structural Engineer (Water Retaining)
YOE: 10+ Years.
Contract: Perm Role.
Location: Bangalore/Chennai.
We re hiring Structural Engineer (Water Retaining) for one of our Leading MNC to join their growing team. This position is based out in Bangalore / Chennai.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.E (Civil or Civil/Structural)., M.E (structural Engg) Preferred;
- 10 -14 years of experience in structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and foundations;
- Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD);
- Knowledge of structural and engineering applications (STAAD, RISA, Math Cad);
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred;
- Familiarity with international standards such as Euro codes & American codes ASCE, IBC, AISC, ACI, ASTM;
- Experience with static and dynamic equipment foundations, steel structures like pipe-racks and equipment supporting structures, steel and reinforced concrete buildings, connection designs, development of design criteria, specifications and standards;
- Advance Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis methods and software;
- Experience with structural designing for water/wastewater/other industrial/facilities(building) projects;
- Drafting software REVIT, AutoCAD, etc.
- Hand on experience in designing the structures using American codes like ACI, ASCE, IBC, etc., and Euro codes.
