Job Title : UIM Solution Architect

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UIM Solution Architect to join our IT infrastructure team. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing infrastructure management solutions, specifically focusing on Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM). The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to provide scalable, efficient, and optimized solutions for monitoring, automation, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Lead the design and architecture of UIM solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Provide technical leadership on the integration of UIM solutions into existing infrastructure environments.

- Develop architecture blueprints and detailed solution designs tailored to client requirements.

Implementation & Integration :

- Oversee the deployment and configuration of UIM software and hardware components, ensuring alignment with best practices and client needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, storage, security, and application) to ensure seamless integration with UIM tools.

- Lead UIM system integrations with other enterprise monitoring and management tools.

Consultation & Optimization :

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for UIM, providing consultations to clients and stakeholders on optimization strategies.

- Assess infrastructure performance and provide recommendations for system improvements and efficiencies.

Customization & Configuration :

- Customize UIM platforms to meet specific client requirements, including creating custom dashboards, alerts, and reporting features.

- Perform advanced configurations to optimize monitoring, reporting, and automation features of UIM solutions.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Maintain detailed documentation on UIM architecture, configurations, and best practices.

- Provide regular status reports and progress updates to management and stakeholders.

Training & Support :

- Provide technical training to client teams on UIM system operations, troubleshooting, and best practices.

- Offer post-implementation support and resolve issues related to UIM systems.

Skills & Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- At least 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and architecture.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing UIM (Unified Infrastructure Management) solutions, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong understanding of IT monitoring tools, performance optimization, and automation.

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with UIM platforms like CA UIM (formerly known as Nimsoft), Nagios, Zabbix, or similar tools.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
