Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and non-IT staff using various communication methods (Email, IM, ticketing system) to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Design and deploy new systems and enhancements to existing ones.
• Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system administrators and applications teams.
• Installs, configures, and maintains new and/or existing servers hardware.
• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.

Performs additional related duties as assigned

Preferred candidate profile

• IT Systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
• Servers & storages hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Storage platforms specifically SAN & NAS.
• Microsoft Operating Systems up to Windows 2022 Server and Windows 11.
• AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File Server.
• VMWare technology i.e. VSphere, VCenter.
• Linux servers installation, administration, and maintenance Nice to have.
• Good project management skills.
• ITIL – Nice to have.
• PCI DSS – Nice to have.
• Azure cloud (MS Entra ID, IaaS, PaaS) – Nice to have.
