Job Title: Workforce Management Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

The Workforce Management Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, and management of the workforce to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient operations. This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of workforce strategies, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of WFM Team Leader and their respective teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Forecasting: Analyze historical data and trends to forecast staffing needs and align the workforce with business demands.
  • Planning: Develop and implement capacity plans to ensure that production resources meet demand while minimizing bottlenecks.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on workforce metrics, such as attendance, productivity, and adherence to schedules.
  • Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance workforce efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies related to workforce management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their staffing needs and provide support in workforce planning.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on workforce management tools and processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any workforce-related issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Project Management: Participate in and may lead departmental or cross-functional project teams to improve capacity planning processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in workforce management or a related field, with at least 2-4 years in a relevant role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in WFM software and tools.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
