Area Sales Manager - BFSI (2-5 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Hubli. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales. This role involves leading a sales team, developing business strategies, and achieving sales targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead, train, and manage a team of sales professionals and channel partners to meet sales objectives.

- Create and implement sales strategy to increase revenue growth.

- Identify and acquire new clients via field trips, networking, and recommendations.

- Use market trends, competitive activity, and consumer preferences to optimize sales strategy.

- Establish and maintain good working relationships with important clients, distributors, and partners.

- Schedule frequent sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.

- Ensure that sales leads are followed up with and closed on time.

- Keep precise records of sales performance, lead generation, and customer contacts.

- Ensure adherence to corporate rules and industry requirements.

- Travel across Hubli and the nearby areas to explore business prospects.

Candidate Profile:

- At least two years of field sales experience, ideally in BFSI, FMCG, retail, or B2B sales.

- Expertise in team management, company growth, and customer acquisition.

- Excellent communication, negotiating, and leadership abilities.

- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

- Experience with CRM technologies and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to tour widely across Hubli.

- Worked in life insurance, general insurance, financial services, or direct sales.

- Excellent networking and client relationship management abilities.

- Capability to assess data and develop successful sales tactics.
