Roles and Responsibilities
†Place RFP as per BOQ & receive Quotations from vendors
†finalization of rates in accordance with the Management
†Preparation of Purchase order while taking due care of Taxes, Rates and T&C. Issue
purchase order as per BOQ after management approval
• Coordinate with site team for delivery schedule requirements on site. Follows up on orders
to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised Dates.
• Inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications
• Checking of invoices in accordance with Purchase order.
• Organizing timely payment of contractors after receiving material as per quality norms.
• Ensure all the files are updated on weekly / monthly basis with all the purchase related
documents, invoices, POs, DCs etc.,
• Updating Excel Order sheet / Coordinating over emails
• Maintain files with descriptions of available suppliers and materials
• Maintain a comparison register of all goods and services
• Maintain data base of material with updated price and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Management to select finishing material in budgeted price and quality.
• Manage warehouse Inventory.
• Check Inward Register Entries and compare with POs.
• Tie-ups with vendors over every item and maintain a database of impaneled vendors
• Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
• Co-ordinate with Accounts Dept for Purchase related payments and others of any.
