General Manager - Procurement

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.
  
• Manage capital expenditure (capex) purchases, including planning, negotiation, and vendor development.
  
• Lead new vendor development initiatives to expand the company's supplier base and improve supply chain resilience.
  
• Oversee raw material procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 14-17 years of experience in procurement management with expertise in capex purchase planning, cost reduction, material procurement, negotiations, new vendor development, price negotiation, purchase management, purchase planning, raw material procurement, strategic purchasing.
  
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment/machinery industry trends and market dynamics.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders across various functions.
