Job Description
- Procurement Planning & Strategy:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for real estate projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Analyze and forecast project requirements to maintain appropriate stock levels of materials and services.
- Ensure purchasing plans are aligned with company budgets and financial goals.
- Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors for materials and services used in real estate development and construction.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Maintain and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring they meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
- Regularly assess supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
- Purchasing Operations:
- Manage the entire purchasing process, including creating purchase orders, obtaining approvals, processing orders, and managing inventory levels.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the purchasing budget for real estate projects, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
- Track and report purchasing costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on purchasing activities, savings, and procurement forecasts.
- Project Support:
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to understand project needs and timelines.
- Ensure timely procurement of all required materials and services to prevent project delays.
- Stay informed about market trends, product availability, and price fluctuations that may impact procurement.
