Role & responsibilities -
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the most cost-effective purchase of goods and services.
2. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
3. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.
4. Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
6. Coordinate for logistics to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
7. Handling all import shipments.
8. Handling full warehouse operations.
9. Ensure compliance with import-export laws and regulations by staying updated on changes in customs requirements and assisting with customs clearance procedures.
10. Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
11. Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of import duties, taxes, and freight charges.
12. Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries, and resolving any discrepancies.
13. Conducting regular stock check and maintaining stock records.
