Purchase Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

• RFQ Preparation & Management : Identify products to be procured and develop RFQ selects bidders, negotiates prices and quotations, and evaluates alternate suppliers.
• Commercial Negotiations: extensive cost/commercial analysis involving large number of SKUs, brands and suppliers local and international
• Inventory Planning: Analyse inventory reports and replenish stocks to maintain right stock levels across multiple locations
• New Product Development: - Assist the cross functional teams in developing new products identifying new products and managing product data
• Supplier Evaluation & Selection: Identify new suppliers or review existing suppliers, Analyse, research, and recommend alternative sources of supply for usage and cost savings
• Contract management : Create and execute purchase contracts in line with the agreed budgets, including receiving and tracking of material with the aim to optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

• Should have dealt in large number of SKU's from both local & overseas suppliers
• Highly Proficient in advanced Excel, MS Office and virtual organising tools
• Working knowledge of Incoterms , payment terms and related banking & shipping documentations.
• Effective verbal and written English communication
• Engineering Products knowledge preferred
• Excellent Commercial and Negotiation skills
• Engineering drawing and knowledge of parts process preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible in order to meet international time zones
