Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services required for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Management:
• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
• Manage and oversee all purchasing activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and order placement.
2. Vendor and Supplier Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure cost-effective deals.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
3. Inventory and Cost Control:
• Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels.
• Monitor market trends to identify changes in pricing and availability of goods.
• Ensure procurement budgets are adhered to and identify cost-saving opportunities.
4. Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations in procurement activities.
• Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal departments such as operations, finance, and production to align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Address and resolve supply chain issues and escalations promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA,BE,Diploma
• Proven experience (6–16 years) in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in ERP or SAP systems and procurement software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of market trends and supply chain processes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
