Role: Technical Services Engineer Expert

Location: Pune

Requirement: Microsoft Exchange Online Protection Exchange Infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange SME (Subject Matter Expert), Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft M365 applications, particularly Exchange. Working knowledge of Veritas Enterprise Vault and Merge1.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Exchange SME to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of our companys Microsoft M365 environment, with a focus on Hybrid Exchange services.Responsibilities:Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft M365 applications, particularly Exchange.Monitor server performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Implement and manage disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices regarding privacy and security.Implement M365 solutions that meet client requirements.To lead in the Exchange 2016/2019 role, Veritas EV admin, Merge1 admin, and have knowledge of AD, DNS, and DHCP.Coordinate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.Work with executive team members, decision-makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.Mentor and guide other team members on Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange-related issues.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Microsoft M365 Exchange Administrator or in a similar role.Extensive experience in MS Exchange and basic understanding of SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power BI environments.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.Preferred:Microsoft fundamental certifications such as AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900.Advanced M365 certifications like MS-203, MS-102, MD-102.8-10 years of experience in handling P1, P2, P3, P4 incidents/service requests and completing them within defined SLAs.Expertise in O365, identity and platform management, and providing technical solutions to maintain a healthy end-user O365 environment.Knowledge of O365 AD, ADFS, Azure, Windows 10 workstations, mail security, and mail jet solutions.Hosted email solution experienceWorking knowledge of enterprise monitoring systemsWorking knowledge of Veritas Enterprise Vault and Merge1ITIL knowledge is a plus.Basic networking, storage, and virtualization knowledge.Ability to connect with customer Tower Architects during solution designing of BAU operational activities.Ability to execute and oversee M365 run book tasks.Innovative thinking and decision-making in line with best practices.Knowledge of scripting and automation ideas for M365 exchange environment. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.Personal Attributes:Strong presentation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented and highly organized.This role requires a deep understanding of Exchange services and the ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members effectively.
