Urgently looking For Assistant Manager - Operations (Bulk shipment)

Role & responsibilities :

• Responsible for steel trading operations, including contracting, documentation, from source to customer as a team lead managing a team of 4-5 junior operations personnel; also required to be hands-on for various activities across the trade flow to support the operations and trading teams
• Complete ownership of trade flow from trade confirmation from suppliers side through contracting, shipment coordination/tracking, import procedures, sales contracts to final payment received from customers (CFR/ex-warehouse stock & sale/high seas sale / bond transfer sale)
• Ensuring execution of finalized trade as per terms finalized both at the supplier and customer end for CFR & domestic stock & sale business
• Managing export / import related activities such as import/export documentation, timely delivery, documents to customs and bank, etc an ensuring timely custom clearance and imports to minimise detention and penalties
• Ensure that all required documents (bills of lading, certificates of origin, packing lists, invoices, test certificates etc.) are received / presented in time

• Checking all sales/purchase invoices for goods and services ensuring they are received/paid in line with contracted terms of the order
• Overseeing operations for local sales through Stock & Sale and tolling operations; managing domestic logistics/trucking from/to warehouse for execution
• Managing domestic warehouses and ensuring safe, reliable, compliant and efficient operations through various agencies and ensuring SOPs are strivtly followed
• Maintaining various weekly MIS reports tracking the full trade flow
• Liasoning with F&A to for all interlinkages between finance & operations
