Job Description
- Preparing tenders, negotiating, drafting and implementing contracts, developing opportunities for supply chain integrations.
- Ensure budget spends and cost control achieve primary freight cost savings.
- Analyzing the freight cost and recommend improvements /initiatives to drive cost efficiency.
- Supporting the development of procurement processes and policy, ensuring full compliance to P2P and Procurement standards.
- Supporting production plants for timely placement of trucks for moving finished goods to the sales depots.
- Tracking placement efficiency, Transit TAT adherence and transporter performance metrics.
- Managing the TMS (Transport Management System) process for all primary movements, Freight accounting and ensuring full compliance.
- Managing Supplier Relationship and performance improvement.
- Developing the processes and policies related to logistics and ensuring full compliance.
