Lead- Transmission & MPLS

Responsible for enhancement of existing or new design of network architecture and components as per the business requirements within the set timeline. This is a planning and solution design role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on day-to-day platform planning and network operations.

Responsibilities

Involved in the design of the network architecture and network equipment planning.
Perform technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, analysis and various transmission systems.
Analyze traffic flows and trends, route planning, network optimization, routing solutions and forecast of traffic.
Perform integration with existing systems and conduct service validation prior to hand over to Service Operations team.
Direct the assurance team in adopting measures for fault rate & ticket rate reduction.
Support the service assurance during Critical network failure situations related to solution.
Support Pre-Sales team for non-standard/customized solution or any new platform/technology solution evaluation and testing.
Involved in strengthening or maintenance work for existing network.
Validate the Design, HLD/LLD from Vendor
Prepare BOQ as per the design and Network/customer.
Carry out POC in coordination with Lab team and OEM for design & product

Desired Skill sets

Experience of network Design, Planning and operations across multiple layers
Experience in IP-MPLS, MPLS-TP, SDH & GPON Technology.
Good knowledge of IP routing protocol ( ISIS, OSPF. Segment Routing, EVPN, BGP, LDP, RSVP) & Ethernet Technology
Good technical knowledge for analyzing the logs and troubleshooting the issue.
Good communication, collaboration and interpersonal skill.
Experience working with cross functional team
Experience working on GUI based platform (NMS) and automation tools ( like Cramer, Assure CBOSS etc)
