Job Description
Providing legal support in product filings - 1. Ensure timely filing of products; 2. Drafting of policy document and related documents; 3. Establish a balance between legally enforceable and plain English/ easy to understand language in the Policy contract; 4. Document the learnings on Policy Contracts; 5. Responding to IRDAI observations and alignment of product documents.
Provide Innovative business solutions and models co-created to enable business growth - 1. Partnering with various functions to implement initiatives and initiate new distribution tie-ups smoothly; 2. Provide effective and well researched legal advice to business. 3. Ensuring effective legal advisory.
Partnering Business in implementing product compliance - 1. Provide legal advice on issues pertaining to implementation of laws through Empowered Working Group; 2. Provide well researched inputs to shape new laws and regulations; 3. Align/vet business process changes.
IFSCA Regulatory Mechanism: Ensure implementation of IFSCA regulations and deploy regulatory compliance framework for IFSC branch of the Company
Drafting agreements/Formulating SOP/Policy/ Process Note - 1. Drafting and vetting of regulatory agreements. 2. Formulation of SOP to streamline processes; 3. Preparation of policies pursuant to regulations/guidelines or internal requirements.
Research: Assist in providing Innovative business solutions and models co-created to enable business growth and provide effective and researched advice to business.
Ethics: Handle ethics engagement initiatives in line with the policies and procedures prescribed by the group office.
Reporting:
o Prepare presentations/ notes for regulatory bodies/ senior management.
o Internal & external reports, excluding regulatory reporting: Assisting in timely submission of reports to senior management, Board, Group/ Joint Venture entities and maintaining records
Assist in formulating SOP/ Policy/ Process Notes pursuant to regulations/ guidelines or internal requirements.
