Technical Architect - Palo Alto (8-15 yrs)

Job Description :

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS) and Panorama.

- Create and manage security policies, NAT rules, and VPN configurations.

- Monitor and analyze network traffic for threats using Cortex XDR & WildFire.

- Troubleshoot firewall issues and provide incident response support.

- Optimize firewall performance and ensure compliance with security standards.

- Integrate Prisma Cloud for cloud security monitoring and protection.

- Implement Zero Trust Architecture and access control policies.

- Work with SOC teams to analyze and mitigate security incidents.

- Perform regular firewall audits and upgrades to maintain security posture.

- Document configurations, policies, and network security procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (PA-Series, VM-Series, CN-Series)

- Strong knowledge of PAN-OS, Panorama, and GlobalProtect VPN

- Hands-on experience with Prisma Cloud and Cortex XDR

- Proficiency in NAT, IPsec VPNs, SSL Decryption, and Threat Prevention

- Understanding of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network protocols

- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Industry certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE (Preferred)

Preferred Certifications :

- PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)

- PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)

- CISSP, CCNP Security, or AWS Security Certification (Bonus)
