Azure Cloud Administrator - Security, Compliance & Cost Optimization.

We are seeking an Azure Cloud Administrator with a strong focus on security, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring security best practices and regulatory compliance..

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux), Azure SQL, Neo4J, and Odoo ERP.. Oversee Azure B2C authentication and identity management.

- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of Azure services..

Security & Compliance (ISO 27001 & SOC 2) :

- Implement security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, MFA, Key Vault, and Encryption.

- Ensure data security, incident response, and compliance with ISO 27001 & SOC 2 standards.

- Conduct regular security audits, patch management, and vulnerability assessments..

Backup, Disaster Recovery & High Availability :

- Configure and manage Azure Backup, Disaster Recovery (ASR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)..

- Implement high availability (HA) and failover strategies for critical services.

- Ensure reliable data backups and recovery procedures..

Monitoring & Incident Management :

- Set up Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.

- Manage incident response and troubleshooting for outages and performance issues.

- Automate alerting and escalation mechanisms for infrastructure events..

Cost Optimization & Performance Tuning :

- Monitor Azure cost consumption and optimize resource utilization.

- Implement scaling strategies (auto-scaling, reserved instances, rightsizing) to reduce costs.

- Conduct regular performance assessments to enhance infrastructure efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience Required :

- 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Administration.

- Expertise in Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Networking (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs), Azure SQL, and B2C authentication.

- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 & SOC 2 compliance requirements.

- Hands-on experience with security hardening, RBAC, IAM, and threat protection on Azure.

- Experience with Azure Backup, Site Recovery (ASR), and Disaster Recovery solutions.

- Proficiency in monitoring & logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel).

- Strong understanding of cost optimization techniques on Azure.

- Excellent troubleshooting, incident response, and communication skills..

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory) :

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900).

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
