Senior Automation Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer - JMeter/Selenium (6-8 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to take on a Testing role for the quality assurance of a family of our Enterprise products, focusing on the virtualized environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Build and execute manual and automated test cases, analyze and report test results to development and product teams.

Develop build automation of existing and new projects to facilitate the development of a full continuous integration environment

- Work with other engineering teams to facilitate a common approach to continuous integration that includes build automation, test automation, and deployment automation

- Take an active role in the planning and implementation of the QA teams strategy and process improvements

- Perform testing of the products, test/resolve customer reported issues related to the products, report bugs, maintain the bug database as well as write and execute test plans and test cases

- Provide mentoring and technical leadership to a team of SQA Engineers

- Actively participate in product design as the QA representative : work with the Program Manager throughout the development cycle in providing definition, development and deployment of the products quality assurance, addressing all phases of product development

- Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and processes to plan

- Experience with release process

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

- 6+ years of SQA experience in MS Windows environments

- At least 2 years of Experience with functional/regression test automation frameworks with such tools as Cucumber, Ruby, JMeter, Selenium, Python, Robot.

- Technical competency and experience with web applications, web services, Java, JS, node.js, XML, and DB a must

- Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS

- Proficiency in API testing

- 2+ years of experience in setting up, administering and maintaining virtual infrastructure environments in the QA lab, particularly with application and desktop virtualization solutions (at least one of the below)

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS is a must

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and shell scripting

- Experience testing Windows Client Server applications for Enterprise products

- Knowledge of MS SQL or RDS

- Must bring strong experience implementing a formal QA infrastructure (procedures, processes, documentation) that assures the delivery of high quality products, on time, within budget and according to specifications

- Strong planning skills and ability to write accurate and detailed test cases and test plans

- Must work well under pressure in a multi-tasking environment with rapid development life cycles

- Attention to detail a must
