Senior Automation Engineer - Selenium/JMeter (6-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing and should be proficient in designing, developing, and executing automation scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and devise automation strategies accordingly.

- Lead the automation efforts to enhance test coverage and overall system reliability.

- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework, ensuring scalability and robustness.

- Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure the implementation of best practices in test automation.

- Identify, document, and track software defects in collaboration with the QA and Development teams.

- Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) by automating test processes as part of the deployment pipeline.

- Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to the growth of the automation team.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience (6-12 years) in automation testing and test framework development.

- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, or similar.

- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or any other relevant language used for test automation.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.

- Good understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, integration, regression).

- Knowledge of APIs and experience in API testing and automation.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology / B.E or an equivalent field.

- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
